Apache Stanbol is now a retired Apache project which provided a set of components for semantic content management. I was a member of the project management board (PMC) and a committer for this Apache project.

While this blog post describes the general concepts of Apache Stanbol, this paper gives detailed information about the semantic indexing and search we designed within Stanbol.
